London Chamber Orchestra approached us to create a new e-commerce website to showcase their upcoming concerts, online media and their education strand, Music Junction. As a values-driven website agency passionate about creating bespoke websites, we were excited to take on this project.
Our biggest challenge was to create a website that would meet the needs of the LCO and their audiences. We had to make sure that the website was aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate and provided a great user experience across all devices. Additionally, we had to integrate with WooCommerce and Salesforce, which required us to create a solution that was both scalable and flexible.
We created a multi-page responsive website using the latest web technology, to create a thoughtfully considered, engaging, and compelling user experience. We also ensured that the website met UK government accessibility requirements and was easy to maintain and manage.
To improve the website’s ranking and generate more relevant traffic from paid and organic search, we optimised the website speed, ensured that the site was easy for search engines to understand, and used structured data and Schema.org markup. We also set up Google and Bing accounts to register the website and sitemap file.
Finally, upon project completion, we removed 5 tonnes of CO2 and planted a grove of 250 trees. We also provided training on the content management system and continue to maintain and support the LCO website.
The newly created website met the needs of both the LCO and their audiences. It provided a great user experience across all devices, was easy to navigate, and aesthetically pleasing. The integration with WooCommerce and Salesforce was seamless, which made it easier for the LCO to manage their events, attendees and donors. The website’s speed was optimised, which increased its search engine ranking potential.
