Fresh Hope is an umbrella charity that facilitates, coordinates, and supports community-based projects. Their mission is to see communities united and transformed, radiating hope and compassion. Fresh Hope approached Lightly Salted to create a website that would showcase their various projects and provide a platform for donations to support the charity.
At Lightly Salted, we believe in better business, and we were eager to help Fresh Hope achieve their goal of making a positive impact in their community. As a Living Wage employer, we share Fresh Hope’s commitment to reducing poverty and promoting equity and inclusion. We also prioritise sustainability and reducing our environmental impact, which aligned with Fresh Hope’s values of being positive for the planet.
The main challenge of this project was to create a website that would effectively showcase the various community-based projects that Fresh Hope supports. We also needed to ensure that the website would allow for easy and secure donations to support the charity. Additionally, the website needed to be visually engaging and easy to navigate, in order to effectively communicate Fresh Hope’s mission and impact.
To address these challenges, we worked closely with Fresh Hope to understand their values and goals. We conducted a thorough analysis of their target audience, which included businesses and individuals who shared their passion for community-based projects. We then developed a custom multi-page website that was designed to be visually engaging and easy to navigate.
The website was built on WordPress and included advanced features such as a donation platform and secure payment processing. We also included information about Fresh Hope’s various projects and initiatives, along with case studies that highlighted the impact of their work. In addition, the website was optimised for speed and performance, ensuring that visitors could easily access the information they needed.
