Challenge
New Wine, a charity organisation dedicated to enabling church leaders to communicate effectively, needed a digital platform that could serve their growing network. The challenge was to create a website that would connect church leaders across the country, providing them with the tools to equip, inspire and encourage each other in serving their churches and communities.
The website needed to balance multiple complex requirements: an intuitive user experience for busy church leaders, sophisticated events management capabilities, a job board for ministry positions, and dynamic content that could adapt to different user needs. All of this had to be delivered within a visually appealing design that reflected New Wine’s mission and values, while being built from the ground up as a comprehensive multi-page platform.
Solution
Working closely with New Wine, we built a comprehensive multi-page website using Drupal that would serve their network of church leaders effectively. Our collaborative approach ensured every aspect of the site was designed with their community in mind — from intuitive navigation to engaging visual design. We integrated essential tools including an events management system to coordinate their gatherings, a job board to connect opportunities within their network, and dynamic content capabilities that allow them to keep their community informed and inspired.
Beyond the core build, we provided strategic content structuring consultation to help New Wine present their message clearly and compellingly. The site was architected with growth in mind, making it straightforward to add new pages and features as their network expands. We also optimised every element for performance, achieving strong results across Google PageSpeed, Google Lighthouse, and GTMetrix — ensuring church leaders can access the resources they need quickly, regardless of their connection speed or device.
Process
We began by working closely with New Wine to understand their mission of connecting and equipping church leaders. We explored their needs for a user-friendly platform that would facilitate effective communication across their network, including requirements for events management, job listings, and dynamic content delivery.
Our team provided expert content structuring recommendations and consultation to ensure the website would be engaging and informative for church leaders. We mapped out the site architecture and planned how to best present New Wine's resources, events, and opportunities in a way that would inspire and encourage their community.
We built a multi-page website using Drupal, working collaboratively with New Wine throughout the process. The site was designed to be visually appealing and easy to navigate, with integrated events management, a job board, and dynamic content capabilities. We ensured the platform was future-proof, with the flexibility to extend functionality and add new features as the network grows.
