Creating a Multi-Page E-Commerce Website for a Leading Musical Institution

Challenge
London Chamber Orchestra needed a website that could serve multiple audiences—concert-goers, music educators, and online shoppers—while reflecting the elegance and professionalism of a world-class orchestra. The site had to be visually striking and intuitive to navigate, providing an exceptional user experience whether someone was browsing on a desktop, tablet, or phone.
The technical requirements added another layer of complexity. We needed to integrate WooCommerce for ticket sales and merchandise alongside Salesforce for customer relationship management. This meant building a solution that was both robust enough to handle these integrations seamlessly and flexible enough to grow with the orchestra’s evolving needs.
Solution
We built a multi-page responsive website using modern web technology to deliver a thoughtfully considered, engaging user experience. The site showcases London Chamber Orchestra’s upcoming concerts, online media, and their education strand, Music Junction, while meeting UK government accessibility requirements and remaining easy to maintain and manage.
To improve search visibility and generate more relevant traffic, we optimised website speed, ensured the site structure was clear for search engines, and implemented structured data using Schema.org markup. We registered the website and sitemap with Google and Bing to maximise discoverability across search platforms.
Upon project completion, we removed 5 tonnes of CO2 and planted a grove of 250 trees as part of our environmental commitment. We provided comprehensive training on the content management system and continue to maintain and support the London Chamber Orchestra website.

We began by working closely with London Chamber Orchestra to understand their needs: showcasing upcoming concerts, online media, and their Music Junction education programme. We identified the key challenge of creating an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-navigate website that would serve diverse audiences while integrating with WooCommerce for ticket sales and Salesforce for customer management.
