Building an Effective Website for New Wine

New Wine
Lightly Salted delivers a Drupal-based website for New Wine, featuring easy navigation, an events system and job board, enhancing communication for church leaders.

New Wine is a charity organisation focused on enabling church leaders to communicate effectively. The New Wine network is designed to connect church leaders to equip, inspire and encourage each other to serve their churches and communities. Lightly Salted was tasked with building a multi-page website for New Wine from scratch.

As a company, Lightly Salted values honesty, integrity, and better business practices. We believe in reducing poverty in our local community and being environmentally conscious by running all our websites on 100% renewable-matched energy. We are also members of 1% for the Planet, which means we give 1% of our annual sales to environmental causes.

New Wine needed a website that would cater to church leaders and enable them to communicate effectively. The website needed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate and visually appealing. It also needed to have an events management system, job board, and dynamic content.

To resolve the challenge, Lightly Salted created a multi-page website for New Wine using Drupal. Our team worked collaboratively with the client to ensure that the website was designed and developed according to their needs. We ensured that the website was easy to navigate, visually appealing, and user-friendly. We also incorporated an events management system, job board, and dynamic content.

We provided expert content structuring recommendations and consultation to ensure that the website’s content was engaging and informative. The website was built to be future-proof with the ability to extend the website and add more pages and features. It was also optimised for speed to produce a favourable result from Google PageSpeed, Google Lighthouse, and GTMetrix.

The website was launched successfully and has provided New Wine with an effective means of communication with church leaders. The website has been well-received by users and has contributed to the organisation’s growth. The job board has enabled church leaders to connect with potential employees, and the events management system has facilitated people being able to book onto events.

Overall, the website has been a resounding success, providing New Wine with a platform to communicate effectively with church leaders and enabling them to serve their churches and communities better.
