Challenge
Caplor Energy’s existing website had become outdated and difficult to navigate, creating barriers for users trying to find information about their renewable energy solutions. The site’s design and structure no longer reflected the company’s forward-thinking approach to sustainability or their commitment to helping businesses and homeowners transition to clean energy.
We needed to create a website that would improve the overall user experience while authentically showcasing Caplor Energy’s values and expertise. The challenge was to build a platform that made it easy for potential clients to understand their services and technologies, whilst reflecting the environmental responsibility that sits at the heart of everything they do.
Solution
We started by conducting user research to understand what Caplor Energy’s audience needed most from the website. Working closely with the team, we developed a clean, modern design that puts their commitment to sustainability front and centre, while making it easy for visitors to explore their renewable energy solutions. The result is a visually appealing site with a searchable directory of products and services, helping businesses and homeowners find exactly what they need.
Behind the scenes, we built the site on WordPress, giving Caplor Energy a straightforward CMS they can maintain and update themselves. We included a blog feature so they can share news and insights with their audience, keeping the site fresh and engaging. To ensure the website performs well in search results, we optimised site speed, implemented technical markup and structured data, and registered the site with Google and Bing with a proper sitemap in place.
Process
We started by conducting user research to understand the needs and preferences of Caplor Energy's target audience. This helped us identify what visitors were looking for and how we could better showcase their renewable energy solutions while reflecting their commitment to sustainability.
Working closely with Caplor Energy, we developed a clean, modern design that emphasised their environmental values and made navigation intuitive. We planned a searchable directory for their products and services, and incorporated a blog feature to help them share updates with their audience.
We built the new website on WordPress CMS, making it easy for the client to maintain and update independently. We implemented the searchable directory, blog functionality, and optimised the site's speed and technical markup to improve performance and user experience.
